Lid sits flush and it can be stored vertically. Compatible with the Big Box edition. 1 box stores the miniatures, maps and playerboards in their original storage, the other box stores the organizer with all cards, coins and tokens.

This kit requires assembly. We advise the use of wood glue, which is sold separately.

In principle the organizer is well designed and looks nice. Some minor and one medium issues are there. There could be more descriptions lasered onto some boxes (e.g. large cards). The tray for the destruction tokens and additional dice should be changed. It is split in half, having a too large area for the destruction tokens, but not enough room for all 5 sets of dice (it can only hold 4 sets). I placed my own separator wall in the tray so that everything fits in nicely now.

What I like, are the boxes for the Action and Exploration cards, which are designed in a way you can place them on the game board as "card dealers". This prevents the high decks from sliding by accident. The boxes are a little bit high and clutter the view, but we are actually putting them beside the game board, instead of on the board.

The organizer fits into the Kickstarter Big Box, but also into the Deluxe box. In that case you can only have the organizer within the main box and you need additional boxes for the miniatures.

Have a hobby knife at hand to help you fit some wood inserts.

It's a wonder of design how they managed to accommodate for all cards within the limited space. Even sleeved! I just wish there was also another beautiful organizer for all the minis. As is, now I have a beautiful wooden organizer for my cards and a very ragtag cluster of plastic trays for my minis. Oh well.
