Decide the fate of the forest as woodland factions fight for contrasting goals. But you can only win if you have set your base and have everything organized at home. This wonderful crate was designed to hold Root and all expansions within one box.

Please note that this is an updated version of our Root Crate, to accomodate all 3 of our separate Root Organizers.

This kit requires assembly, which takes about 20min. We advise the use of wood glue, which is sold separately.

Honestly the box is a sidegrade to the original boxes.
Its good to have everything in one box but the layout isnt ideal. Some of the more useful components are burried on the bottom level, while some of the less usefull ones are placed above. Its also a not a snug fit. Its kind of weird since the box was literally built for this exact reason. They ask you to secure things by putting in sticks and junk to fill in the gaps.
Once the gaps are filled it works quite nice.
Its just a shame that they did not include the stick that they literally show in the instruction manual. Honestly if i pay 45 euro i kinda wanna get the stick. It feels so ghetto to put some random junk in the box.
On the flip side the box is pretty. I kinda wish the handles were extenal because the little cutouts dont leave a lot of space to actually grab the box. One major upside is that the faction boards and maps go on top of everything so you dont have to bend the box or try to shove your fingers under them to take them out.
Overall , dont bother with this unless you like the look of it and have monney to burn.
Its in no way essential and it doesnt really do anything you couldnt do without it.

Thank you for your review. Please note that the 3 layers of the inner organizers can be varied at your own preference, so if some components that you need are in the bottom, you can simply put that layer on top.
Additionally, the stick to fill out the gaps with that you mentioned is the black wooden card holder that is part of the Riverfolk expansion.

Great box and tremendous customer service. My only quibble is that it's a little tight for the faction sheets, but they come out with a little shuggling.
