Ghana has a national treasure not known by many: fruit bats. Local farmers have discovered that these flying mammals – although they eat some of the fruit so that the farmers have less to harvest – have a key role in reforestation of the land, and thus, in the long run, if they are left to do their job, the land will yield more fruit to the farmers – and also to the bats. In Atiwa, you will be managing the lives of families in your fruit farm and train them on the importance of these animals. The key to success is finding the balance between growing your farm and maintaining the habitat of fruit bats.
We designed the Atiwa Organizer to help you in managing your farmers to live harmoniously with their environment. All the tokens that you need to move to and from your playerboard (fruits, goats, wild animals, trees and families) are distributed in the 4 player trays so that everyone can keep as much as they need in reach, while cards, fruit bat and gold tokens can be drawn from a central pool. To echo the atmosphere of the game, we embellished the organizer components with many bat-shaped cutouts and engravings.
