More details

"Every spaceship has a voice; a melody of machinery and subsystems its crew learns intimately during long travels. The problem is, ever since the last mission our ship sounds WRONG. There’s something foul in the way it’s speaking to us." With all components inside the lid will have a 1,5cm lift. We advise to use the expansion board and put it under the layer of token trays, so they can be easily removed together, holding the board.

What Our Players Said

Maximilian

I was particularly impressed with the care and attention to detail Laserox show and this is evident in the design of the product, but also the individual message of thanks included and their rapid and informative response to questions. It is very clear that they sincerely care about customer satisfaction and are intending on making a qualityy product. I wholeheartedly support this mindset.

The assembly was mostly intuitive and presented no real problems and once complete fits perfectly and looks great.
Should I ever need similar organisers for other games in future, I will most definitely be looking at Laserox first.

Andrew

Absolutely beautiful. Great design and solid workmanship. Makes setting up and breaking down the game a breeze.

Christopher

It is my first laserox insert, but this one is georgous. The small details with thematic engravings look very nice. It does take some time to put all things together, but that is part of the fun. Really like it.

Sabine

Had fun assembling and like it a lot when bringing the game to the table!

Tom

I'm thoroughly impressed. Not only is the product fantastic, but the support I received from the Laserox team was exceptional. They responded promptly to my inquiries and handled everything professionally. To top it off, I even received a handwritten letter with my order. Thank you, Laserox! You've added a lot of happiness to my birthday.

Very nice insert! 4 stars because there was quite a lot of splintering...

Very nice insert, I needed only to glue a few pieces, all the rest is fitting tight. Also the quality of the wood is great, not too thick, not too small.
It's great to have 3 expansions (2 boxes) in 1 box.

I give a 4* rating due to the following 2 remarks:
I do have some questions about the card tray, since I have a lot of cards that don't fit in and I store them in the box from the queen.
Also do I have a boxlift of 4cm instead of 1.5cm, but still 3 expansions (2 boxes) fitting in 1 with this lift is still sparing over 5cm of storage room!

A wooden crate to fit the base game + all expansions + all books (and even extra space for 3d-printed stuff) would be great!

Quality wise this feels good.

Usability wise I feel that it will hurt a bit having everything in the same container. To make everything fit, everything is intermingled so if you wanna play vanilla rules but with only one of the expansion characters for example, you need to unpack everything more or less. All these extra boxes will take up a lot of surface space.

The boxes for the minis is a lot better than the insert for vanilla nemesis tho and they swallow a lot of them in a condensed area.

I do not like the card trays, so much space wasted with these thick wooden spacers and even tho it is awesome that they are marked with what category of card they contain I feel that the cards are hard to get (stubby fingers I guess).

I would've preferred this to be sorted differently to make setup easier.

And the box-rise is crazy ;p

This insert took a while to assemble because I stained it and applied a polyurethane clear coat to mine... but the result is fantastic. It is amazing that we are able to fit three expansions (Aftermath, Voidseekers, Carnomorphs) in there. I was not able to fit the solo scenarios in the insert because I also bought some token shields (https://www.etsy.com/listing/787030151/deluxe-nemesis-token-shields) for my game, but had I not protected the tokens then everything would have probably fit the box.

The only reason I am not giving this insert the full five star rating is because of the box lift. Given that there are three expansions stored in this insert, I am willing to live with some box lift, but 1.5 cm is a rather large amount of lift.

I, too, hope that laserox will be able to put together a crate for this game, similar in principle to their work with Eldritch Horror (https://laserox.net/products/board-game-inserts/eldritch-horror-crate). The crate would get rid of the box lift problem. Hopefully their crate can accommodate: (1) the base game insert and (2) this insert, (3) have an area to store the terrain expansion (for which there is no insert yet) with perhaps an extra box to store odds and ends, and (4) an opening spanning the entire length and width of the crate and perhaps 3 or 4 cm tall that can accommodate all of the rulebooks and the game boards, and possibly extra components. Many people buy extra props for their game like 3D printed engines or accessories... while I have not, having extra space in the crate for such things is a huge plus.

But back to this insert: It is a good, well-designed insert that can store all your expansion components but the box lift here is significant.

I really like this product, the engravings are pretty and the assembly quite easy. It's a bit of a shame that the box doesn't close completely, but that's the price to pay to be able to put the three extensions together in one box. Which is appreciable despite everything, especially since the content remains in place despite that. I would have nevertheless appreciated to be able to put the figurines of doors, eggs and corpses of characters that I have but already given the size of the insert it would probably be too greedy. Perhaps providing a complete insert with a wooden chest including all the equipment like Terra Mystica, Battlestar or Orléans would be an excellent idea because the game is really worth the effort.
